Solo


As a solo performer, Adam has released two CDs (1999 & 2009) and toured Poland, Germany, USA and Australia. At first it was a matter of convenience to perform solo but since the release of “Etudes” in 1999, it has been a vital part of Adam’s creative output

In 2009 Adam recorded a second solo self-titled CD, engineered by Myles Mumford. This was accompanied by a VIC/NSW/ACT regional tour, performing on almost 20 instruments, at venues as varied as the Wye River beach and General Store, Winter Magic Festival (Katoomba) and the avant-garde Winter Tragic Festival at Akemi.

Adam’s solo concerts generally include a mix of composed and improvised material. The direct influences on this work includes: Anthony Braxton, Tim O’Dwyer, Ellery Eskelin, Ned Rothenberg, Evan Parker and Peter Brotzmann.
